Werner got to go to Shellie's preschool for Dad's day! They made all sorts of cool crafts and had their picture taken together. Turned out very cute!

We went sledding again. This time all of us. The girls had a blast. Now Werner is spending a lot of his free time trying to find 2-up sleds so we can ride legally with the girls. We also need to find helmets for them. :)

Mojo is still kicking. He doesn't like the loud sounds of the sleds too much but he followed us out to the lake and ran around a little bit.

We drove on the trail into town. They have a nice park the girls like to play at during the summer. Turns out they also like it during the winter. it took forever for us to get them to want to leave. At least it was a nice day.

Hope you guys are enjoying your summer weather.

We went to the cabin for the weekend. Werner took the girls on a quick ride on teh snowmobile. They loved it. Later, I noticed the pink sled flying behind the snowmobile as he flew down the hill to the lake for some ice fishing. Thank goodness the kids were not on it (or hadn't been on it)!

Now they are worn out and fast asleep. :) I missed the picture of Gabbi with her leg hanging over the edge of the bunk bed. Oh well. These are pretty cute anyway.

The next morning, the girls dressed up as princesses and danced for me. They were so cute.

Now the girls are watching Yogi Bear cartoons. Werner got them from Netflicks and recorded 3 seasons. I forgot how corny those cartoons are. But the girls love them. And I get to drink my coffee and blog in peace. :)

After yet another afternoon at the pool, we are now babysiting Audrey so Carrie and Brian can go to a Wild hockey game. Audrey is such an easy kid. My kids are harder than her.

I'm also watching the Dallas/Giants football game. I wanted Giants to win but now that Green Bay is in it, I would rather have Dallas win cause Farve has never won in Dallas. :) I'm terrible.

She is such a cute girl. I wonder if next time they will have a boy or another girl. I boy would be cool. I know so little about boys as almost all our friends have 2 girls. :)

The girls and I are sitting at Caribou for some chocolate cookies and chocolate milk for breakfast. I just got a new laptop that is small and portable. So I thought I would blog quickly. And I brought the camera so I could include a picture. Very cool. Unfortunately though, I had a skim mocha to drink. Too much caffine. I can feel it already. Going to have to drink a lot of water to counter balance. :)
It must be early Monday morning at your place. Have a good week!!!
Love Ya.

Here are some more random pictures from Christmas time. My mom made the girls canapys for their beds. They turned out great. This one purple one of course is Shellie's. You can also see her new Ariel Blanket on her bed. She refuses to lay underneath. Only on top of it and she has to straighten it out every time she lays down on it.

This is Gabbi's. Pink is her favorite color. It looks like someone threw up pink in her room. But she loves it.

Her is one of Audrey on Christmas Eve. Dressed all in pink. She is looking more like her mother each day.
She can now walk too. I forget how cute it is when babies are just learning to walk. They are so unstable.

Here is Keisha "trying on" some horns that Stacy's husband Mike has. I think if he was here she wouldn't be doing this. I also have one of her "wearing" them like a bra. Very funny.

I thought this pic was adorable. Gabbi layed on this chair all day with whoever was on it. Very cute. She loves her uncle Kent.

Today we spent the afternoon at the YMCA in the pool. Gabbi can doggie paddle and back float very well. She jumps in the pool and swims all over by herself. She loves to put her goggles on and swim underwater. It is so much fun watching her.
Shellie just started being able to put her face in the water yesterday. She also can barely doggie paddle. It is so darn cute watching her. I still have to catch her when she jumps in the pool. But then she wants to "swim" by herself to the side.
They both started swim lessons on Thursday night and I have had them in the pool everyday since. Since we have the cabins I really need them to be very comfortable with water and swimming.

Last Wednesday night, Jill, Becky and I met at the Yarn Cafe in Maple Grove and sat for 3 hours knitting and catching up. We never see Jill very much so the 3 hours went super fast. But I got a lot of the hat I was knitting done and Jill finished the dish cloth she was working on. The best part is, they have food and WINE there. So we got to drink too!! Love it. Even though this year I'm going to cut back on my wine consumption so I can if it helps me lose some weight. I also gave up caffine. I drink only decaf. I miss my coffee but it is better for me. I was getting very dependent on it. Oh well.

More soon.

Here we are at the Buttweiler Xmas. Stacy made up some Jib-Jab mini movies of each of the Buttweiler clans. So we sat around her computer watching them. It was pretty fun. I managed to get a very good picture of it.

Stacy also had guitar hero. Here, Keisha and Gabbi are curled up on the chair playing. Gabbi pretty much layed on the chair with whoever was on it. She loved the chair. I'm thinking of getting one for our house.

Inez and I both walked around taking pictures. So she probably has some good ones I will have to get from her.

It was a fun day except for the girls and I being sick as dogs. The kids got a ton of disney princess stuff. It is like disney threw in their rooms nowadays. Oh well. It could be worse. I'll post some more pictures later today. I should really get to work. Werner got me a new laptop pc (part of granite consulting write off). I can take it anywhere in the house, so it will be much more convienent for me to find time to blog now, hopefully. :)

Have a magical day!!!!

Okay, I promised more soon and here I am. Everyone is sick here. Gabbi was sent home from school because she was complaining that her ear hurt and it was red. Sure enough, she has an ear infection. Poor kid. I'm feeling a little better but now I have my period. @@

These two pictures are from Shellie's preschool "concert". You can barely see Shellie on the top row in the middle. She insisted on being on the top row rather in front. The teacher asked her 3 times but she wouldn't move. Oh well. She kept waving at me during the concert. It was very cute.

Shellie insisted on wearing her pink barbie dress up dress and a brown shirt. Werner was quite mad about it as he didn't think it was very appropriate. I was just happy she put a shirt on under the dress to keep her warm and her chest from showing. Pick your battles I always say. :)

These next pictures are from Santa with the Stendahl's. It was so much fun this year. The girls actually sat on their laps and let some girls paint their cheeks. It was very cute.

Well, that's all I have time for now. I'll try to post again in a couple of days.
